Many traders quit demos because they "don't have real emotions". Paradox: precisely because the demo lacks adrenaline, you make new friends measure the system instead of measuring fear. AurexisLabs recommends using Demo as a laboratory associated with research scanning.

Demo to test what?

  • Can the multi-timeframe rule be followed?
  • Does stop/size match ATR and liquidity?
  • Are you violating your max daily loss?
  • Does the Journal have enough detail to make improvements?

Suggested 14-day training schedule

  1. Days 1–3: Only observe scan + record bias, do not enter orders.
  2. Days 4–10: planned demo with full invalidation; Maximum 3 setups/day.
  3. Days 11–14: review win/loss according to setup type; cut weak rule.
If the demo does not keep the rule, the real order will almost certainly break the rule.

Attach demo to news & scan

Each demo setup records: catalyst news (if any), multi-timeframe/Super Scan results, R risk, emotions 1–5. Reference: Scanning instructions, filter news.

After the demo

Go live with a size smaller than your ego. Increase size only when the journal shows a stable rule — not because of a lucky week.
